In the last five years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has seen explosive growth in both our personal as well as professional lives. That growth continues and it is imperative that doctors keep abreast of these amazing advancements in diagnostic accuracy and practice efficiency. Using AI enhanced radiographs not only helps the doctor and team, but it is also a tremendously powerful tool to help patients better understand their problems and solutions.

How many times have you started to clean your patients’ teeth and discovered severe bleeding, heavy biofilm, or worse recurrent decay? Using the assessment phase as a guide will enable us to formulate a dental hygiene diagnosis, develop a treatment plan, select interventions, and evaluate our progress. In this CE webinar, we will discuss the benefits of completing the assessment phase of ADPIE. We will emphasize the critical role a complete medical history, periodontal exam, radiographs, and biofilm assessment play in your patients' oral health. More than ever, dentists are looking for predictable and efficient methods to deliver exceptional restorations. Our restoration checklist includes: sealed margins, functional occlusion, accurate inter-proximal contacts, while offering beautiful esthetics. However, central to every restoration is the bur that is selected to perform a specific role during the procedure. Whether removing decay, finishing a composite, establishing a margin, or adjusting a pristine ceramic surface, dental burs answer to a broad scope of restorative procedures. This CE webinar will discuss proper bur selection from start to finish for everyday clinical dentistry.

Local anesthetics are very safe drugs. However, they do sometimes, rarely, exhibit side effects. Practitioners inject thousands of dental cartridges every year and usually do not think about those potential issues. When they occur, we may be unprepared and unaware of what to do. This CE webinar will discuss the side effects and potential emergency situations that are associated with both local anesthetics and vasoconstrictors. As well, ways to mitigate these situations will be presented. Specifically, local anesthetic allergy, toxicity and cardiovascular emergencies will be explored.

For most tooth-conserving clinicians and patients, the idea of cutting adjacent teeth for a fixed bridge is unimaginable, considering the collateral damage and possible side effects. Also, for most patients, a fixed implant is vastly more desirable than a removable partial denture. Nevertheless, after 30 years of using dental implants, astute professionals have learned that, in many cases, dental implants are neither less invasive nor free of problems. Due to advances in adhesives and a better understanding on how to use them, better porcelains and manufacturing techniques are making the next generation of bonded bridges predictable. In this CE webinar, Dr. Ruiz will share a variety of prep designs and uses, as well as step-by-step techniques for temporizing and bonding and the latest research on successful zirconia and porcelain adhesion techniques.
With the advent of resin composites, we have seen generations of materials that left something to be desired in either their strength or esthetics. The resin composites of the 2020’s are better than ever. This CE webinar will investigate new improvements in properties like polymerization shrinkage, flexural strength, polishability and filler percentage. In addition, we will explore the advantages of using universal adhesives for today’s direct restorations.
Periodontal disease affects upwards of 80% of the population, but many patients are still hesitant to consider surgical intervention, despite the well established oral and systemic health risks. The combination of dental anxiety, treatment time, cost, and fear of invasive procedures creates a challenge for both patients and clinicians. This CE webinar will provide alternative non-surgical treatment options that can help manage cases to minimize the progression of periodontal disease in hopes of managing their overall health.
